Our Story

Founded on a passion for the Ionian Sea, SAIL2DAY isn’t just a charter company; it’s our home. As a family-run business based in the sheltered waters of Vliho Bay, we believe sailing should be personal. We don’t just hand you a boat key; we share our favorite hidden bays, our best tavern recommendations, and our lifetime of local knowledge.

Our base is in Vliho Bay, Lefkada, Greece.
Lefkada is  enclosed by the beautiful waters of the Ionian Sea and is close to the other Ionian Islands (Kefalonia, Ithaca, Corfu, Zante and the smaller islands of the region) and the west mainland of Greece.

Our Mooring Spot

Our mooring spot (private pontoon) is located in Lefkas Vliho Bay.
Our berths offer dock refuel services with a truck, mooring lines, harbour master & crew, provision and water supply.

With a background in business management and a lifetime of navigating the Ionian, he ensures every charter runs like clockwork, handling the complex details behind the scenes so your only worry is which bay to visit next.

Christiana

Managing Partner

The first friendly face you see in Vliho. Christiana manages the base with military precision and Greek hospitality. As a certified ISSA Sailing, VHF, Catamaran, and First Aid Instructor, Christiana combines deep technical knowledge with Greek hospitality. Whether she is ensuring your yacht is spotless or teaching you how to save a life at sea, she treats every guest like extended family.

Artem

Chief Sailing Instructor

A calm and patient mentor with huge amount of nautical miles in his logbook. As a certified ISSA Sailing, Motor, VHF, and Catamaran Instructor, Artem specializes in turning nervous beginners into confident skippers. Whether teaching GMDSS radio protocols or twin-engine maneuvering, his philosophy is simple: safety first, stress second, and enjoyment always.

George

Boat Enthusiast

The rising star of our technical team. Though young, George has incredible potential and a natural instinct for mechanics. If it has an engine or a sail, he knows how it works. He ensures every outboard engine in our fleet is maintained to the highest standard, making sure your tender starts the first time, every time.
