A Celebration of Sailing and Culture
Join sail2day and the ISSA community for an unforgettable week in the Ionian Sea. From October 3rd to 9th, 2026, we set sail from Lefkada to discover hidden bays, vibrant culture, and the true soul of sailing.
More than just a flotilla, the Festival of Sails is a global gathering of sea-lovers.
Hosted by sail2day in collaboration with ISSA, this event bridges the gap between professional training and pure Mediterranean lifestyle.
Whether you are a seasoned skipper looking to sharpen your skills or a newcomer eager to experience your first sunset at sea, FOS 2026 offers a perfect balance of informal racing, team building, and cultural immersion.
Participants will have the opportunity to exchange tips, techniques, and stories while enjoying the breathtaking beauty of Ionian islands coastline. This is a perfect chance for sailors to connect, learn from each other, and foster friendships that extend beyond the festival.
Starting from Lefkada to explore the South Ionian you should expect short sails, nice weather, hidden bays surrounded by trees, charming fishing villages, Greek tavernas with traditional food, fun on land activities, and an abundance of Greek history.

Test your sails! Friendly races between destinations to see who catches the Ionian breeze best!

Day 2 & Day 6 we expect to taste some nice local food all together! Greece is popular about food, tastes and local traditional delicacies!

No engines, no oars—just pure creativity and laughter at the beach.

A cocktail competition is more than just a night of drinks; it’s an experience filled with creativity, laughter, and friendly competition!

Ionian is famous for it's hidden bays, beautiful beaches with turquoise waters, so we'll do our best to visit some of these beautiful spots!

Greece has a long history and local culture that you can explore by visiting the small fishing villages and charming towns.
The ISSA Sailing community is open to everyone, regardless of experience level. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or just beginning your journey, we encourage you to join us for this extraordinary event.
